What should be paid attention to when installing capacitors

The technical requirements for installing capacitors are as follows:
1. In order to save the installation area, high-voltage capacitors can be installed in layers on the iron frame, but the number of vertical layers should not exceed three layers, and horizontal layer partitions should not be installed between layers to ensure good heat dissipation. The installation positions of the upper, middle and lower layers of capacitors should be consistent, and the brands should be outward.
2. The iron frames for installing high-voltage capacitors are arranged in one row or two rows. There should be a patrol channel between the arrangement and the arrangement, and the width of the channel should be more than 1.5m.
3. The iron frame of the high-voltage capacitor bank must be covered with barbed wire, and the shielding net is preferably 3~4cm2.
4. The distance between high-voltage capacitor shells is generally not less than 10 cm; the distance between low-voltage capacitor shells should not be less than 50 mm.
5. In the high-voltage capacitor room, the net distance between the upper and lower layers shall not be less than 0.2m, and the distance between the bottom of the lower capacitor and the ground shall not be less than 0.3m.
6. The connection between each capacitor and the busbar should be a separate soft wire, not a hard busbar connection, so as not to cause stress leakage or damage to the porcelain sleeve during installation or operation.


7. When installing, the contact surface between the circuit and the grounding part should be good. Because any bad contact in the capacitor circuit may generate a high-frequency oscillating arc, thereby increasing the working electric field strength of the capacitor and heating damage.
8. When capacitors with a lower voltage level are connected in series and run in a network with a higher voltage level, measures such as installing insulators equivalent to the operating voltage level between each casing and the ground should be used to make it reliably insulated.
9. After the capacitor is star-connected, it is used for a higher rated voltage. When the neutral point is not grounded, the capacitor shell should be insulated.
10. Before the capacitor is installed, the capacitor should be allocated once to make it balanced with each other, and the deviation should not exceed 5% of the total capacity. When installing the relay protection device, the balance current error during operation should also be met.
